We Are All "The One" Part II

In Part II of this episode, I share my testimony and the moments where I have personally felt like the one lost sheep that Jesus has pursued after and brought back to Himself. The voice of the devil is one of condemnation, making us feel like we've done too much or are too far gone for God to want us, but that is a lie. God is waiting for us, running after us, wanting us to come to Him. Even if you have wandered, even if you have strayed, the Lord is still close in love and grace with open arms ready to wrap around you, pick you up, clean you off and carry you home. Image May 9 Public 0 0We Are All "The One" Part I On this episode of the podcast, I dive into times throughout my relationship with God that I have felt like "the one." As Season 1 is coming to a close, I thought it would be helpful to reflect and encourage those who feel like the dirty, tired, runaway lamb- referenced in the art piece by Kevin Carden that has been the anchor and basis of this podcast. I discuss the reality of being a Christian that has wondered away, gotten lost and has been chased down by the Lord to be brought back home. The Psalms are a beautiful body of the highs and lows of the human experience in relation to their Creator- from grief to praise- every emotion is covered. David wrote many of the Psalms we know and love and that Jesus quoted in the New Testament. April 19 Image April 19 Public 0 0Community: Messy and Beautiful | Part I w/ Kevin Coyne This week I welcome on my friend Kevin Coyne, a fellow creative and Christian from childhood he brings an insightful perspective and burden to the current state of the westernized church. We discuss discipleship, good leadership, spiritual gifts and get honest about what has worked well and where the church as gone wrong. We dive into how American culture has permeated into kingdom culture and the consequences on pastors and flocks alike. Image April 12 Public 0 0The Wonderful Blood Happy Easter Everyone! This week I dive into the significance of the book of Leviticus and it's symbolic and intentional mirroring to parts of Jesus' crucifixion. As I've been meditating on the Levitical laws of sacrifice, my sin and the true heart behind repentance the Holy Spirit brought about beautiful revelations on why Jesus had to die the way he did, what sin really costs, and how Jesus not only made a way to be in eternal relationship with us- but is THE way!
