We've created a forum for all things electric boost related - from tech to projects even including Torqamp users! Go to www.electrifiedboost.com to join; and I'll do my best to to share what I've learned on this journey - which is FAR from over. Looking forward to seeing you guys there!ArticleJul 14, 2021Public 0 0What do Patrons get that non-Patrons don't?Mar 5, 2021ArticleMar 5, 2021Public 0 0More Boost!Aug 14, 2020ArticleAug 14, 2020Public 0 0First Boost In the Car!Aug 6, 2020 View post Hi Guys - you get the first look at the very first electric Vortech datalog. I snuck out tonight and finally was able to make a pull. Now this was on 12 cells (not 15) and they're only half charged. I also had to use 6 gauge power cables (I really need at least 4 ga.) BUT - it made boost. Not much, but as long as I held the button, it was boost positive. 2 psi peak; 1.1 psi minimum. I think we can get this up to 4-6 psi with full power, better cabling and some tweaks. Remember, the engine in the LTD makes around 500 fwhp naturally aspirated. Even though I was only able to pull it to just under 5,000 rpm (that was 94 mph, btw), it still worked, hArticleAug 6, 2020Public 0 0Ignore the previous post!Looky what Chinese miracle hath transpired today... I did have to pay the difference, but it's on it's way, none the less. It was actually shipped out from Hong Kong yesterday, and the current estimated delivery is July 22nd. By that time, hopefully everything will be installed in the car and shortly thereafter we're going to do a real, in-car boost test. Thanks for your patience and more to come!Articleyesterday at Jul 21 crawlPublic 0 0Beauty Shots of the Electric VortechWhile I'm finishing up the power/electronic controls, I shot some beauty shots of the electric Vortech for an upcoming video.
