The SEM image of the light bulb filament is part of a scene from my upcoming video, which I hope to release later today. Here's is a teaser.

VoiceoverNow that I'm finished recording, it's time to record the voiceover and work on the audio. Believe it or not, it takes a surprising amount of work to record a good clean voiceover for a 27 minute video. Here's a shot of my makeshift voiceover studio. There's a clue in this photo about the topic of this video. Any guesses as to what I'll be discussing?VideoJune 30Public 0 0SEM ImageHere's one more fun photo that makes an appearance in the upcoming video. This is a scanning electron microscope image of a light bulb filament. This turned out better than I expected!VideoJune 29Public 0 0Behind the scenesHere are a few behind-the-scenes photos of the setup for several scenes in my upcoming video. At this point, I think I'm done filming everything, so it's down to editing and audio, which still takes a while. I'm hoping to get it posted sometime in the next two weeks.VideoJune 29Public 0 0New Video Coming SoonHi everyone. I know it's been a while since I posted a video, but I wanted to let you know that I am working hard on a video right now and have just about all the details worked out. It's still going to take a while to film and edit everything, but I think you're going to really like this video. Any guesses on what this video is going to be about? It's probably hard to tell from this picture alone. I'll post another teaser soon with a little more information.VideoJune 2Public 0 2A close up look at my hairView post Hi all. I realize I haven't posted anything on Patreon yet, so here's my first post. One of the videos I'm currently working on needed a familiar object that was small, about 0.1 mm in size. After giving it some thought, I figured out that the width of human hair is approximately this size. The next step was to get a good image of one of my hairs, so I contacted or geology department to see if I could use their electron microscope. So I had fun yesterday afternoon looking at close-up images of my hair. Here is a sample.Articleyesterday at Jul 22 crawlPublic 0 3New Video Coming SoonHi everyone.
