Reading from RUNNING DRY by M.ChristianLocked Reading from RUNNING DRY by M.Christian July 27 2 I'm having a lot of experience with this lately! That being the case, I wanted to talk a bit about the ways in which a bookselling event can go sideways for you as a vendor and some possible ways to recover from that. Let me know if you have any questions! “When Events go Awry” Picking up more or less where my previous post about preparing for tabling at book events left off, I thought I would talk a bit about what happens when events don’t go as planned, as well as some suggestions for dealing with that. As those of you who follow me on Facebook or Dreamwidth may have seen, I just had a very bad tabling experience at Twin Cities PrideArticleJuly 27$1 tier & up 0 0

Joyce Chng ReadingSo I do 15-30 in person events every year, which includes everything from panels and readings to book festivals, books tables at Pride celebration, brewery pop-ups and so forth. Which means I know a lot about doing these. Since I thought some folks might find it useful or be interested in what kind of effort goes into doing direct sales, I thought I'd write up a primer. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have! Happy to share the info. :-)ArticleMay 8$1 tier & up 0 0
