You might notice on the portait photo a lot of dots on the face. The model was Ava, the model from Winter who I drew pastels of and she had all her piercings in so I tried to indicate them. I have overcorrected though. I need to widen the hips a bit and also soften up the upper torso by giving the appearance of better fat and muacles while still showing how lean and slim the model is. My will mainly be on getting the pelvis and legs as accuratebas possible but still a bit stylized and then have the upper torso be accurate and connected but still very loose. I did part of one like this one 2 years ago but missed about half of it because I was sick. So I'm excited to complete this. We did a ton of small quick sketches and ended up choosing one that reminded me of a Frazetta pose and will be useful for my female mage painting and leg/glute studies.
