I have nowhere to talk about music so I'll do it here. However as a disclaimer, I don't want to sound like an ad read or whatever-- this just me talking about art that I'm passionate about and like, trying to support some stuff I like. But I have no affiliation with anything I mention beyond being a genuine fan. Anyway I'm making this post because of Bandcamp Friday. When I'm writing, kind of the only acceptable companion to that is music. In fact, music helps me write a lot. Providing the appropriate mood and soundscape, manipulating my own emotions in a sense, helps me a lot in staying not just focused but immersed in what I'm doing. I told myself that I would allow myself to have the rest of January after being laid off to be kind of a mess and that I would lock in when February rolled around. I'm now inhabiting the worst of both worlds in that I still feel like a mess but I have to lock in. So I want to talk about the near future. In terms of this Patreon and what I'm going to try to get up to with my writing.
