August 7 View post The rivalry of Honinbo Dosaku and Yasui Chitetsu was lifelong, starting when they were young players. When Dosaku became Meijin, it was said that he was two stones stronger than any other Go player. However, Chitetsu managed to push him back to Sen-Ni, or between 1 and 2 handicap stones. In this game both players are in their mid-20s and are probably playing at Sen-Ai-Sen, Dosaku taking White 2 out of 3 games. Chitetsu shows his fighting strength, treating us to some Life and Death calculation inside White's areas.
