Howdy, folks. My shoulder has finally healed up enough that I can type for short periods of time. Therefore, I thought it might be time to give y'all an update on things. It's been a month since my surgery, and while the first week is mainly lost to the winds of painkillers, bad horror movies, and too many naps to count, the last three have been a little more productive and much less painful. I had three tears in my rotator cuff repaired and significant amounts of scar tissue removed from the area. Howdy, Patrons. I had my PT assessment this morning, and it turns out my range of motion is pretty good. Since I'm moving along better than expected, the thinking is that the recovery won't be too awful. However, I'm still in an industrial-strength sling for the time being, which of course means I can't really type. But dictation is my savior. I'm still in some discomfort, which makes concentrating rather difficult and sitting at the computer more than a little annoying. That said, it'll get better every day. So what's next on the docket?
