$5/moSabersEdge TrooperHiddenThe army has soldiers, the navy has sailors, the marines have marines and the cavalry has troopers. The Cavalry was the eyes and ears of an army and it continues today. They are the first to engage the enemy and the last to disengage. Let us forge ahead in the spirit of the cavalry and embrace the principles that have been the strength of civilization throughout human history. Together we can do so much more than we can apart. Our strength is in our unity and together we form a community of hope. The saber was the traditional weapon of the cavalry trooper and for us it recalls that the pen is mightier than the sword but both must be backed by a strong arm and a stout heart. Join SabersEdge and learn to think in a way that has a future.
$10/moSabersEdge ScoutHiddenI signed up for the US Army as a cavalry scout and I invite you to join the SabersEdge Association with the same spirit. Scouts blazed a trail finding new paths for the Army in advance and retreat. They searched out the challenges and found ways to overcome them. Joining SabersEdge at this level is a great way to provide greater support with a higher degree of commitment. Scouts comments and inquiries will be considered with greater priority as we build the SabersEdge Association.
$25/moSabersEdge DragoonHiddenThe Dragoons were cavalrymen who were trained to fight mounted on horseback or foot. They were flexible and bold cavaliers who fought for what they believed. At Gettysburg, a single division of cavalry fought as dragoons to hold off the entire Confederate army until the Army of the Potomac arrived. Dragoons faced unbelievable odds but continuously demonstrated that they were up for the challenge. A Cavalry song in the 1800s said: "Now each cavalier that loves honor and right, let him follow the feather of Stuart tonight. - Come tighten your girth and slacken your rein; come buckle your blanket and holster again; Try the click of your trigger and balance your blade; for he must ride sure that goes ridin' a raid." While we aren't in physical combat we are in a war for ideas and the same courage and determination of character are required when you are defending principles and truth. As always your support goes to help a non-profit educational association and a portion of your contribution is given to support the families of fallen heroes.
$50/moSabersEdge KnightHiddenIn an earlier day Knights were the mounted warriors that preserved the ideas of Western Civilization from chaos and violence. More than soldiers they were the leaders and chivalry represented the highest ideals of honor, truth, art, and learning. It was the knights and nobility who were the protectors and patrons of the arts and who put their lives on the line in times of trouble. It was the knights who were responsible for defending, not only their lord but also the people who relied upon them for safety and guidance. Similarly, in modern myth it was the knights of the old republic which defended their civilization and brought the promise of justice and hope to the people. Although their Republic fell to tyranny and corruption their saber "was an elegant weapon of a more civilized age." A knight takes responsibility for him or herself and the country in which they live as they stand for freedom and quest for truth.
