This kitty is on the moon. Something about his head is wompy (skewed would be the correct term). So, proportions for the cat are a bit off and his glass helmet was not as successful as I would have preferred. The composition conveys movement well so at least there's that. But I have a discovery that I experimented with here. In sketches I found two colors that work well together to create gradients of shadows on a white/almost white surface that really shows volume: a Crayola skin tone color and an alcohol marker gray.
