As a further part of the Dot experiment, I mounted the ReadyDot on my Gen 2 Max-9 to see if it zeroed differently. I didn’t have time to czech its zero but I shot the Johns Creek IDPA match anyway. As it turns out, Point of Aim and Point of Impact coincided adequately for match purposes. I had a good time, no malfunctions, and shot reasonably well. There were 31 targets in all; I was five Points Down for the match total...

Gun or None? – IA foolish and unnecessary killing occurred late last month. It has been talked about by both commentators and common taters quite a bit in the weeks that have followed. The incident is representative of what I call ‘Gun or None’ thinking. Having such an attitude is ill-advised and foolish. Guns can be very useful tools for Personal Protection but their application is legally and morally permitted in only a very limited set of circumstances...ArticleJuly 24$3 tier & up 4 2San Diego CCW Qual CourseJuly 21ArticleJuly 21Public 0 1No Dot But Still I ShotSome friends have gifted me a real Red Dot Sight to replace the quasi-dot ReadyDot. There was one last question I wanted to answer:ArticleJuly 15$3 tier & up 0 0https://www.patreon.com/TacticalProfessor/posts/maybe-it-was-me-162847576...Sometimes you have to say, maybe it was me. I’m loathe to immediately blame issues on equipment because it’s often the shooter at fault. I really want to shoot some scenarios with the Max-9/ReadyDot, so I decided to take it out to the range today to prep for the IDPA match on Sunday. I shot the IDPA 72 round 2017 Classifier as the practice and testing regimen.ArticleJuly 3$3 tier & up 7 10To Dot or Not? – III“Win, lose, or draw, I’m going to shoot the [July IDPA] match with the ReadyDot.
