Sort of a mix off comical MJ memories and -- yes, eventually -- review of the Antoine Fuqua-directed film. Article May 11 Public 0 0New episode: LexG's Director Riffs: Cronenberg, Bigelow, Walter Hill, and more Hey, this went up the other day, but I was waiting for it to post on Apple. New thing I might try more of, mini "lightning rounds" about formative favorite directors. Very informal and hardly comprehensive, just loose freeform stuff. New episode up, with reviews of the big hit Project Hail Mary (warning, does contain some vague spoilers), as well as the double bill of Ready or Not 2 and They Will Kill You (which are kind of the same movie!) Somehow this ends in a freeform riff on just random thoughts and stuff I've been watching and re-watching, including mini riffs on Charlton Heston, Malibu Express, Evita, Missouri Breaks, and the latest Nicole Kidman streaming show. Article April 15 Public 0 0New episode: LexG March 2026 Random Riffs: Oscar Also-Rans, Chuck Norris, and Recent Reviews Hey, it's a short and sweet hangout episode-- I catch up very belatedly with a few Oscar also-rans I ended up loving (Blue Moon, If I Had Legs, I'd Kick You, Train Dreams, and Sirat-- all timely as ever!), say a few words about the late Chuck Norris, and a pair of recent reviews, for Gore Verbinski's Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die, and the horror flick Undertone. Article March 24 Public 0 0New episode: LexG Reviews The Bride!, Scream 7, and More Some new reviews up on the pod! I discuss The Bride! and Scream 7 (with a little riffing therein about the Scream franchise in general)... then a few words each about Crime 101 and Send Help. Enjoy! Article March 13 Public 0 0
