I enjoyed making these and learning the process as I did so. There were things that worked and things that didn't work. A change of paper was needed early on in the process, an adjustment to the amount of paint etc. Later on in the series I started using tracing paper to mask areas off, and that worked well. I'll certainly do some more at some point.ImageAugust 4Public 0 2World's Biggest Pop StarsHere's a test for a little series I'm going to do of the world's biggest pop stars. Biggest as in large in size. I'm going to make some prints of various big lads and lasses, and send them to my top tier subscribers over the next couple of weeks. A5, so not actual size pop stars. If you have a request do say. I'm definitely doing another Meatloaf and a Demis Roussos.ArticleJuly 20Public 0 2Draw!July 9ArticleJuly 9Public 0 1Cliff Richard GelliJuly 6ArticleJuly 6Public 0 3Kitchen LithographyJust back from a 2hr kitchen lithography workshop in Blackburn. It was ace! Kitchen lithography is a home-brewed version of proper lithography but without a big stone and chemicals and stuff. All you need is stuff you can easily get hold of - paper, tinfoil, some cheap oil paints (though I already have some oil-based ink for lino printing), and the magic ingredient - any brand of cola.Article8d agoPublic 0 12 3 Share Gift LockedNo public preview was captured for this post.Article8d ago£2 tier & up 0 3A couple of drawingsNothing special here, just a couple of drawings I did today, both from ideas that popped into my head.
