$3/moThe Cat's whiskersHiddenWe have made Andros Animal Shelter a home for stray cats who have come here of their own accord. In the summer people from the surrounding houses come to spend their holidays, but when they leave they usually 'leave' the cats they have been feeding behind. Since we are the only remaining community in the area during the winter months, stray cats gravitate to us and we adopt them, feed them and do our best to look after them ! :-)
$6/moThe Donkey's Hay Bill !HiddenAt the moment we have 4 donkeys, a horse and three mules at Andros Animal Shelter. The horse was found abandoned on the road, a retired mule was used for 16 years carrying building materials, a donkey was rescued off a dealers truck, another was rescued with her foal and another born here. Their food bill is considerable so any monthly support towards their upkeep would be much appreciated ! :-)

Unfortunately many humans abuse their power, using animals cruelly, or keeping them in horrible conditions for food consumption etc. We try to be a tiny drop in the ocean of people who can reverse animal abuse and give them the love and kindness they deserve. Help us to help them ....help us to put a smile on their faces ! :-)
$12/moThe Permanent Members PackageHiddenAs one of the permanent members, Piglet became famous after Ben Fogle's visit to our shelter, as the commentator in the TV series 'New Lives in the Wild', when she ended up as his favorite !! Due to her plucky character, she has overcome the semi paralysis of her two back legs, and scoots around using her front legs and partial use of her back legs. Piglet is one of the much loved permanent and older members of our shelter. :-)
