With the current state in our country we have protests that have turned to rioting and looting. I felt like playing something with a hard driving tempo that could express the anger I've been feeling. Bob Marley has always been a huge influence musically for me, but also was a major social hero for a lot of people. He spoke out against many of the world's injustices. I think there was a surge of reggae channelling through me here.
