This tune features some really great open string licks attached to some walking bass lines. Progression mimics a Ray Charles tune imo. I - IV - V with some hip passing chords/turnarrounds! Really fun and easy to play once you get the hang of it! Hope you were able to take something from it, thanks for watching! Article Dec 8, 2024 Public 0 0Brad Paisley - Cluster Pluck I've always wanted to learn this tune note for note, its only taken me my entire lifetime (30+ years) to do so lol! Country guitar picking at its finest, steal all the licks you can! This took me about a month put together so if you enjoyed the video or learned something please consider liking the video, subscribing or just sharing with a friend! Thank you! Video Jun 12, 2024 Public 0 1Polka Dots & Moonbeams I transcribed Hank Garland's arrangement of "Polka Dots and Moonbeams"! It's one of my favorites from his " jazz winds from a new direction" rerecord. It's a really great example of how to arrange a really great chord melody, no frills or crazy substitutions just play the changes and melody beautifully. Hope you can take something from it! Article May 22, 2024 Public 0 0Johnny Smith Quintet - Vilia This is from the "Moonlight in Vermont" record! This is a "pretty close transcription" of the tune lol. I added a couple little things & tried my best to figure out Johnny's crazy inversions. Hope you can take something from it! Article Mar 26, 2024 Public 0 0
