$5/moFull Belly Fund - Feed the KiddosHiddenAs our Patron, your support contributes to the everyday care and well being of all Cloven Heart kids, by feeding them. Many of the saved lives residing here have come from backgrounds of neglect and starvation, so food makes life wonderful for them. Bags of grain/feed is a big expense with each bag of grain costing anywhere between 10 and 40 dollars depending on type of feed and how often we run out. If it isn't on grass, it's hay, which is a cut, dried grass. It provides lots of fiber to help keep their bellies healthy and digesting as it should. We go through roughly 42 bales a week. As we, grow, our hay needs will also grow. As the weather cools, our hay usage increase. $200/moSponsor 1 Week of FeedHiddenThe animals here are always hungry. We go through 4 bags of cattle cubes, 1 bag of horse feed, 1 bag of chicken feed, 4 bags of pig feed, 2 bags of dog feed weekly. We go through 2 bags of Timothy pellets, 1 bag of alfalfa pellets, 1 bag of beet shreds, 1 bag of guinea pig feed, 1 bag of rabbit feed, 1 bag of turkey food, 1 bag of chicken scratch, 1-2 bags of Timothy hay, 2 bags of goose/duck feed monthly. It averages around 200 weekly. Give or take depending on weather, hunger, hormones, illnesses.

Thank you so much for generosity in choosing this tier. There are times when hay is eaten more or used more by the animals. Hunger levels can fluctuate. Weather can increase use. Hay is our biggest expense monthly. Hay prices can also fluctuate during the year. Knowing we have a consistent source of food for the animals is so vital to their wellness.
