May 18, 2021 0 likes 2 commentsPeggy WIP #6! Got this one up a little late because I kept smoothing and working on the transitions from light to dark. I think it's looking so good! We're over the half-way mark, and I'm so excited to be getting more of the details in. Article May 7, 2021 Public 0 0Peggy WIP #5! A lot of lightening and brightening of the areas of highlights. This takes a little while, but is essential to filling in the rest of the skin tones that are visible in the next step. The area around the lips and chin are very much like a puzzle of shadows and lights, even more than the other areas, because it's almost all just shapes (without a lot of sharp shadows). I'm excited to see how it fills in in the next WIP! :D Article Apr 29, 2021 Public 0 0Peggy WIP #4 I'm still loving the shadows and angles of this portrait. A lot more of the highlights brightened, mid-tones connected and more of the skin tone started. A bit more to go before I start on the hair, but it won't be too long. :) Image Apr 21, 2021 Public 0 0Peggy WIP #3! Here's the latest WIP (work in progress) scan of Peggy's portrait! I'm really loving how the dramatic shadows and lighting are coming out already. It's the best kind of drama. ;) Article Apr 14, 2021 Public 0 0Peggy WIP #7!
