$8/moHeather's LifeHiddenI absolutely adore writing essays, both about my life, and also, with sometimes "deep" (dare I say it?) or humorous content. One of the greatest compliments I get is "I showed up because I saw you on Instagram, but I fell in love with the writing." Means a lot to me.
So, think of this tier as a type of journal — random thoughts, observations, a personal perspective, my weird, unique experiences, and some exclusive pictures and videos here and there that you can't see anywhere else; a long-form version of my 'Gram, more or less.
(Speaking of pics, because a lot of folks ask: I enjoy taking them. They're fun, and they help tell a story. And yeah, sometimes I do post a pic or two that would be considered a little too spicy for Instagram — there are several scattered about here. All that being said, if you're expecting big sets of tawdry photos in bright-and-shiny high res... you might be a little disappointed. I tend to go the retro, minimalistic route with all that stuff — less is more, I think. Just a heads up!)

You'll also have access to TWO additional benefits not included at the lower tier level: my original pieces of written fiction, and recorded audio tracks.• Fiction — One of my great passions is writing. So in this tier, I am posting original works of fiction, written by yours truly. The majority of the content focuses on BE (write what you know, right?), and is either self-referential, or stems from a place of pure imagination. Sometimes it's just words by themselves; other times, the stories are supplemented by illustrations from incredible artists who add their own spice to the stories. Current series include: "Heather's Metamorphosis," "The Girl in the High Tower," and "Letter's from Heather," with more to come as it stumbles out of my brain. • Audio — Audio tracks from my fictional works and the greatest hits of my original essays (featured mainly in the first tier). There's a lot of back log I'd like to get to, plus a whole bunch of new stuff coming down the pike, and I think it would be fun to hear all of these little gems from the horse's mouth. I'm no Terri Gross, but I've been told I have OK pipes, so why the heck not?
$25/moThe Intermittent BeckHiddenI have an odd sense of nostalgia for radio... for audio, the way sound waves hit ears...If you know me, you'll know that I could have made that previous sentence much longer. And, you know that I like to ramble. Incessantly. Some people say it's charming. I, however, remain suspicious.The fiction/audio tier will still harbor formal works, as described there. You will have access to that tier, as well as the $8 "Life" tier. This tier will be... a great experiment. My goal? Come hell or high water, I will publish at least a miniature fireside chat... most of the days? Or a super long one every now and then? (I'd like to do once-a-week for those). Brain babblings, AMAs, Q&As, geek-out sessions, I'd even like to do MST3K-style movie narrations... A big experiment to see what sticks. I'd love to hear your thoughts on what clicks and what doesn't. I think we all know, and those of you who know me most -- I will sometimes fail. But I'm coming out of one thing, and into another. And I would be honored if those of you who join this tier accompany me on that audial journey into the... who the hell knows what.Can't say it won't be fun, however.
