It was written back when the series was supposed to be more goofy and episodic...and, I never enjoyed any part of it. It was so core for so long that I thought I had to incorporate it somehow, but there's just no point. So instead, we're going to start diving right into the serious part of Formicosa (when we're not focusing on Dulsin). I'm excited to get to it, and I'm sure you all are too! No more attachment to filler that I wasn't going to enjoy making, and you probably weren't going to enjoy watching. Sorry, Teddi and Zeugospa. The roaches call them "cousins," and the mantises simply call themselves "spirits." Of course, in order to have a Swarm, they were going to need a proper name for what they were. So, the bees gave them one--a mean-spirited one, with the mantises lacking the cultural context to even know that it was mean-spirited. Basically, the word Gregorsa is using for "mantis" actually means: "Bogeyman." Article March 13 Public 12 2LORE: No word for "mantis" There is not actually a macrovolute word for "mantis."
