Article Latest post PublicHappy Sunday everyone! Happy Sunday everyone! 20 hours ago View post I got to go play radio yesterday. Decided to do some QRP with my new antenna. The N6ARA Tiny Gawant. https://n6ara.com/product/tinygawant-kit/ It's a pretty cool little antenna, though yesterday might not have been the best day for QRP. Hope you enjoy! 73 Mike

This is so much more and it's perfect for anyone who wants a rugged, waterproof, dimmable magnetic, telescopic flashlight, that does all the things and it does them well. I took this on my trip to Xenia and used it a lot while camping. As I have a small trailer, I need small lights to illuminate the outside, but I want a lot of light, and the OuTask TD-2 does exactly that. But one doesn't go to Dayton Hamvention and not pick up more stuff than they need, right? Need a new radio? No. Buy a new radio? Yes. Need more antennas? No. Did I buy more antennas? Yes. I think I might have a problem. But you guys knew that anyway :) So this is my gear haul from Dayton Hamvention. Article May 20 Public 0 2Great Success! Great Success! May 19 Article May 19 Public 0 9I finally did it! I drilled a hole in my camper to run 12V inside and I wired my batteries and inverter. Gotta have AC on the way up to Dayton. Might as well get her done. Article 4 days ago at May 14 crawl Public 0 1So that happened As some of you may or may not know, I was in Florida last week. On Thursday I flew Spirit from Houston to Miami with the intention of flying from Miami back to Houston on Monday. Saturday, Spirit Airlines ceased all operations and I was left stranded. Do I rent a car? Do I find another airline? No. I found another solution. Thanks to the wonderful people we meet in the ham radio community, and a whole lot of dumb luck, I got home. This is my journey. Article May 8 Public 0 4I will not be defeated I will not be defeated

Caitlin, K8FAE, and I tried to activate Okeechobee Battlefield Historic State Park on Saturday. She got her activation, but when I got on the mic, the bands had other ideas. I could only get 6 before we had to leave. Being the stubborn German I am, I don't take to not getting a park activated. So we went back on Sunday to activate this park along with 2 other parks on Lake Okeechobee and this is the result. You can see Caitlins video of her activation and me failing on The Ham Radio Chick YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/RVtpt2eWTTE?si=NzcDf1B9O30NI7m7
Hope you enjoy!

Locked Article May 5 $3 tier & up 10 4This is a cheap and fun little antenna project. You know me, I can't not make more antennas. It's an addiction. This one is for the new to HF ham who just wants to make a quick, cheap HF antenna and get on the air with as little parts as possible. No analyzer, no fuss, just make it and get on the air. It literally could not be easier. Image April 28 Public 0 10
