Apr 1, 2021 0 likes 2 commentsSome tsukumogami The hasamidachi (”scissors cutter”) and the furuougi (”old folding fan”) are tsukumogami born from pairs of scissors and folding fans, respectively. Originally two of many tsukumogami that appeared in Hyakki Yagyou picture scrolls, they didn’t originally have their own names until much later. In particular it was author and polymath Aramata Hiroshi who finally gave the hasamidachi a proper name.
