Pricing and benefits captured publicly

Patreon is not exposing patron counts by tier for this creator, so this section shows public prices and benefits only.

$3/moThe SnickerThe snicker - my very first hallucination. Despite the sound of someone laughing at me in my own room, I persevered. By allowing me to maintain my website and research new resources, a pledge at this tier helps promote basic awareness and understanding, providing essential resources for those with mental illnesses and those who love and support them.
$5/moPaper AirplanesI often picture my disorganized thoughts as paper airplanes soaring around in my head as I try to catch one. But all those planes containing information require fact-checking. By allowing me to research and validate any information that is outside of my personal experience, a pledge at this tier ensures the accuracy of information I share.
$10/moThe MusicMusic has been a frequent hallucination that spans multiple genres, but often just quiet enough that I can't place what song it is. While I can't always place the songs, I can put a real face to severe mental illness - my own. By supporting my ability to meet and speak with groups face to face, a pledge at this tier helps humanize and normalize severe mental illness for parents, first responders, students, and others who work with and care about those who struggle with these disorders.
$25/moThe Price TagOne summer day, while grooming a horse after a jumping lesson, I thought the white paint on her hoof was residue from a price sticker. It wasn't until later that I realized that didn't make sense: horses don't have price stickers. What does make sense is connecting with others to find out what aspects of my experience with mental illness will be most helpful to them. A pledge at this tier allows me to make those critical connections and make sure my writing and speaking remains truly relevant and beneficial.
$35/moThe Shadow PeoplePeering around doors and following me across my college campus, the shadow people have been a recurring hallucination that began during my very first episode. Like so many others struggling with mental illness, I felt completely alone with these hallucinations, but a pledge at this tier will build connections so others don't have to feel alone. You will help me network and collaborate with other mental health advocates to raise awareness, educate, and fight stigma across a wider audience.
$50/moThe Pale-Eyed CatThe cat first came into my life as a tactile hallucination, and shortly after that, a visual hallucination. While I found her and her slow blinks comforting, this was the turning point in my treatment: it was at this point that I received my initial schizophrenia diagnosis. At that time I was afraid, but now I have seen how I can use my struggles to improve the lives of others. My ultimate goal is to share my story and my ongoing experiences at a national level, collaborating with others to raise awareness and break the stigma around mental illness, while striving to show that you are not alone, that there is a way forward, and that a diagnosis doesn't have to be the end of your life. Your generous support at this level will allow me to make those bigger, bolder connections and reach people who could benefit from what I have to share nationwide.
