Article Pirate Pumpkins 2021 Season was a success! I did it! I pulled out another three Pirate Pumpkins songs for Halloween 2021 on top of making a cross state move, and then another 100 mile move from a rental to our now house on top of that.
Pirate Pumpkins 2021 Season A lot has happened since I printed the Gundam Sniper on my 3D printer. We prepped our house in Utah, listed, sold, and moved up to Washington state! We were going to rent for a year and decide where in Washington to live but within a couple weeks the perfect place fell into our lap and so we're already homeowners once again. Article Sep 21, 2021 Test Was a Success! Over the weekend I pushed through and finished the modeling on the GM-2 Sniper. I quickly modeled the rifle to make for a more interesting pose, then posed the parts and merged them together. I then added the socket and peg parts for assembly after printing. But I still need to work on my hard surface modeling skills, and to learn how to make figures in Blender that you're able to successfully print. My solution was to make a test model first. The subject is a Sniper 2 mobile suit because it was still relatively complex, but not too onerous like a wing model. Years of using the software in addition to grabbing a hard surface modeling course off Blender Market has made this one of the fastest and most fun projects I've undertaken so far.
