Patron Shoutout We want to give a HUGE shoutout and thank you to some of our Patrons, Kim Simmons and Craig Bramley! Not only did they share their home as a filming location, but they also allowed our staff to stay at their home for the duration of our Spring Film School!! How crazy is that??!! We can't be more thankful for how amazing our Patrons are! Thank you again, Craig and Kim! Article April 24 Day ONE and TWO Days one and two of the film school have been a huge success! Thank you to everyone who came out for our crowd scene earlier today at Apple Acres! Thank you again to our friends over at Apple Acres, who allowed us to use their space!! We've shared so many laughs together in the past two days. But now we dive into forming the movie! We will be diving right into editing tomorrow morning. Stay tuned for more updates! We are currently in search of extras for a fancy restaurant scene that will take place in our new film "AGAINST THE ROPES"! So if you want to help out Smooth Feather, put on a nice shirt (or whatever you have :) and meet us at Apples Acres Farm in Hiram, ME this Tuesday at 2PM to be part of a comedic scene we'll be filming! The more the merrier so spread the word! Also, hope to see you on the red carpet this Saturday night for the film's premiere on the big screen at the Smooth Feather Theater at 6PM!!!! Hello, Amazing Patrons!!
As we are proud to say, we are run almost solely off of your support! An important aspect of your support is keeping our students and instructors fed during our Film Schools. This is one of our guest instructors from 2024, who we, of course, had to show the local ice cream shop! We are putting the call out to all of our supporters to see if anybody is willing to make our instructors, about 8-10 people, a hot meal during the week of this upcoming film school (April 20th - 25th ).
