This was really such a special experience. A little over a month ago, on my birthday (March 22nd) , we got to play a show in my hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa, literally a few kilometers from where I grew up. We’d played a couple shows in SA before, but this was our first time ever in Joburg. The funny part is we were meant to play the night before, on March 21st, but the gods intervened by giving us too much lightning to go on stage, so we were pushed to the next day and we got to celebrate my birthday with my whole family and a whole bunch of my best friends from growing up in the country, many of whom wouldn’t have been able to make it the day Article May 11 Florida Recap Just got some film back from our time in Florida in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, playing @summit at Sea and going to Bimini, and finally at @theshelborne . We had the best time and can’t wait to be back Also thanks to my bud @vintage_cameraman for setting me up with a beautiful Canon F1 and a bunch of lenses and showing me the ropes and to @nicefilmclub for doing a great job developing Article May 9 West Coast Tour Loading...
