Welcome to Patreon Signal! (Start here)

hey, I'm Aleks. I run a Patreon too, and for years I struggled to manage all the members joining and leaving my community.

So I started building little scripts and systems to manage my members like:

• When they join, add them to Google Drives/Slack/Discord and send them a customized welcome email.

• When their payment lapses, shoot them a friendly email to fix their billing.

• Provide a member's only page on my website with special community tools and wikis.

I've taken those ideas, and built something that I wish I had when I started. My community runs entirely on this now and a few collaborator creators too.

"This tool literally saves me 2 hours every week" - One of my creator buddies told me the other day and it made my day.

So hopefully you find this useful too!

What you get by subscribing

• Connect your Patreon to Signal and see your members, churn, declined cards and revenue in one place, updated in real-time.

• See where you stand in your niche, and track those competitors you want to keep an eye on.

• A members-only home for your community at yourname.patreonsignal.com, with announcements, documents, community wikis, events with RSVPs, and your Patreon posts, each one locked to the right tier.

• Automation capabilities, like emails when a member's card declines or someone cancels. We support webhooks, so the sky is the limit if you want your own custom automations!

What it costs

It's $4/month while Signal is in beta (the next few months). That keeps the lights on and keeps out drive-by signups. When beta ends, you'll still be grandfathered in at $4/month, even when the price goes up to the standard $9.99 rate later.

Getting started

1. Sign up for the membership on Patreon.

2. Go to patreonsignal.com and click Connect Patreon.

3. Give it a minute to pull in your data.

4. ..Profit!

What I'll be posting here on Patreon

A short note most weeks, a monthly post on what features have been built, what's happening across Patreon niches, and the occasional poll on what to build next. Not much more than that.

If this grows, we can turn it into a real community with a Slack/Discord!

One ask: comment with whatever is the most annoying thing about managing your Patreon right now. I'll help you automate it!
