Information We Collect

When you browse Patreon Signal, we may collect basic usage, device, and log information needed to operate and secure the service.

When you sign in with Patreon, we collect the Patreon account information and membership status that Patreon shares through OAuth, such as your Patreon user ID, email address, profile information, granted scopes, and whether your account has an active Patreon Signal membership.

If you connect a creator-owned Patreon account, we collect the campaign, member, tier, post, webhook, and related analytics data that your Patreon authorization allows us to access.

How We Use Information

We use public discovery data to help users research and compare Patreon communities.

We use Patreon OAuth and membership data to verify access to private Patreon Signal features, maintain sessions, and keep public discovery separate from creator-authorized private analytics.

We use creator-authorized Patreon data to provide private dashboards, member and post views, automations, sync status, and operational tools for the connected creator account.

Sharing And Service Providers

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us host, store, secure, monitor, and deliver the service, and with Patreon as needed to authenticate accounts and access authorized Patreon data.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the service, or to prevent abuse.

Retention And Security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain accurate operational records.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You can stop using Patreon Signal at any time. You can also revoke Patreon OAuth access from your Patreon account settings.

If you have connected a creator-owned Patreon account, you can delete your creator account yourself in Settings. Deleting is immediate and permanent. It removes your private creator analytics, your automations, your community and the files uploaded to it, and our stored copy of your Patreon credentials.

Deleting your creator account does not remove your participation in other creators' Patreon Signal communities, because that participation is those communities' own data. An account record also remains. It holds an identifier derived from your Patreon user ID and nothing else, with no name and no email address attached. That identifier is pseudonymous rather than anonymous: anyone holding the same Patreon user ID could recompute it.

After a creator account deletion we keep a small record that the deletion happened, so that we can show it did. It is keyed by that same derived identifier and holds no name, no email address, no campaign name, and no Patreon user ID. Operational history associated with a disconnected creator account is kept for no longer than 90 days.
