We already have about 1500 people in Amsterdam (average age 30!) that visit one of our services or events at least once a year. We know that we can mobilize and grow this group, if only we had more time and more means.
As a mecenas you can help us reach this potential and really make a difference.
With your contribution, we can organize more events, more education and bring many more people closer to our community and our traditions.

The beautiful traditions, stories and melodies of the Amsterdam S&P communities are kept alive by only a handful of people.
Bendigamos is working hard to create a community that is big enough and that attracts enough young people to have enough critical mass to start educating our own Hazzanim and Torah readers again. Fortunately we have collected a lot of youngsters, but many of them have no fluency in reading Hebrew and did not use to go to synagoge often.
We are happy to have talented teenagers that are willing to put in commitment and effort to learn, but really it will take much more time than we can reasonably ask from them on a voluntary basis.
This is why we want to offer scholarships to our students.
For $250 per month, we can offer one teenager a professional, personal training to become a Hazzan/Torah reader and also reimburse them a bit for the time they send practicing and for the services/Torah portions they read.
This Tier of course comes with all the advantages of the other tiers but with 1 special difference: you will receive updates (details can be discussed on a case-by-case basis) of their reading and singing progress.
