My Cutting EDC - Part 120 hours ago View post I thought it would be fun to share these four knives that got the job done during my first two years homesteading and remote camping, all off grid. I know that three of four of these knives are discontinued, but I hope that sharing what I used and talking about the strengths and weaknesses will help some of you to better prepare for a world where you do all of your own processing of food, wood, etc. I also forgot to mention that the Becker BK5 is excellent in the kitchen, which helped us cut weight since we didn't need to have a kitchen knife with us on our travels. One knife to rule them all!
