Article Latest postPublicPatron PDF: Christie and what McDonald ACTUALLY said....

3 days ago View post Hi Patrons, We try to expose the hidden works of darkness here on the channel, which includes misrepresenting sources. That is what Mr. Christie did in the recent debate against AB. He held up McDonald's book and quotes him saying that 4QMMT is "frequently" cited as affirming a three-fold division. Is that what McDonald concluded or was it just the introduction? Find out in today's chill stream. Hope you enjoy! God bless, Gary christie and Mcdonald.pdf

Patron Extra: William Albrecht on 4 EzraWilliam was kind enough to send me this link on his new video on 4 Ezra. We haven't really looked very closely at 4 Ezra before, so I can't wait to see what he has to say on the subject!Video3 days ago at Aug 17 crawlPublic 0 0Patron PDF: The "Tacit Approval Argument"5 days ago View post Hi patrons, One argument that Catholics have used for the past couple of centuries is the "tacit approval" argument and it was a good one. It argues that since the NT prefers the Septuagint as its OT text and the Septuagint included the Deuterocanon, the New Testament tacitly approved the Deuterocanon by preferring the Septuagint. Where this was once a very solid argument, there is some significant pushback. In today's chill stream, we look at additional arguments that can save the tacit approval argument from the dustbin. I hope you enjoy it! God bless, Gary Tacit Approval Argument.pdfArticle5 days ago at Aug 17 crawlPublic 0 0Patron PDF: Updated "Mere" Local CouncilsView post Hi Patrons, A while ago, I did a presentation to show that North African Councils weren't just MERE local councils. It was part of larger body of Church decrees and so on, so that when you get to the Protestant Reformation, the canon of Scripture was fixed. Then I noticed that I omitted two important councils in Spain that showed that the North African Decree and Pope Innocent's list was definitive and that those who reject it are to be punished (this was in the 400s and 600s). So I did a stream called "Holy Toledo.." Now I ran into even more things, codes of canon law both in the West and the East that re- re- re- affirm the North African councils. So, I decided to do a grand suArticletoday at Aug 17 crawlPublic 0 1Possible New Opener? What do you think?Just completed what I hope will be our new opener for the channel. It's riffing off the "zombie arguments" that we are always addressing and refuting, yet they just keep walking the earth. Let me know what you think!ImageAugust 3Public 0 4Patron PDF: Errors Determine Canon Pt 2I hope you enjoy. BTW- I'm still working on the slides so this is not the final form, but I wanted to share this with you in case you're studying along with the series and would like to read the slides.ArticleAugust 3Public 0 0Patron Sneak Peek: Nuclear OptionAugust 2ArticleAugust 2Public 0 0Patron PDF: Can "errors" Determine Inspiration? The last two teamstreams concerned the GBN treatment of the canon. In it, they mention my debate with James White where White pressed me to resolve the "errors" in Judith. They COMPLETELY misunderstood what I was saying in that debate, so I decided that I'd like a few chillstreams to unpack this problem and show way you can't use "errors" to disqualify a book from being in the canon. Hope you enjoy the free course in inerrancy!ArticleJuly 31Public 0 0Patron PDF: The PeshittaThis chill stream was done at request of a viewer and I thought it was a good request. The Syriac Peshitta. We don't normally talk about it, but it does occasionally show up on Protestant apologetics, namely that the Peshitta was original Jewish and contained only the Hebrew Scripture. We look at the manuscript tradition and learn a little bit about this interesting document. Hope you enjoy!ArticleJuly 29Public 0 0New Video: Who Took the Books?I'm having a lot of fun with Ai music. It's a little expensive and I need to navigate all the technical stuff, but I think I'm good. i'd like to produce some short videos basically making into something like the old "School House Rock" videos when I was a kid. Here is a proof-of-concept video I just uploaded. Please don't share. But it is about how the Deuteros were removed from Protestant Bibles. the music is unreal. IMHO.VideoJuly 27Public 0 1PDF: The Great Codices!July 27 View post Hi Patrons, Today's chill stream is on the most ancient "complete" bibles. I put "complete" in quotes because they are all missing leaves. What do they tell us about the Bible canon? More than you might think. I hope you enjoy! God bless, Gary Great Codices.pdfArticleJuly 27Public 0 0Patron PDF: 400 Years of Silence Finale! We put a fork in this topic. Looking at important distinctions and the "Great Synagogue of Ezra."
