The wings are pretty much complete - I've made massive progress on the models, as well as using various methods of image processing to generate extremely detailed normal maps and a displacement map using the photograph I took of the wings. I tried sculpting details into the wings at first, but realized it wasn't going to align with the diffuse texture. I also downloaded a free scan of a butterfly and slapped its body in there for now. Next, I'll use the scanned body as reference to model my own.
