The ESP Easy 2.1 is pretty much a feature freeze as of a month or so. We still most likely release it next month after we've had the Delsbo Electric race which we're a part of (the measuring units are running ESP Easy). Once the 2.1 is released we will start the job of including the new GUI. That would then become the 2.2 version. Sorry for not having updated you guys sooner, things has been hectic around here and we've had to do daytime projects to get some food on our table.
