€9/moBuilding Hula InkPurpose, values, beauty – and faith in the world we live inAfter publishing a dozen books in as many years in the German traditional publishing industry, I decided to change the books I write and where I publish them – to that end, I founded my own publishing company Hula Ink. The purpose of Hula Ink is to publish books in English that reflect purpose, values, beauty and faith in the world we live in. These can be personal development books or books of poetry, but also popular fiction (crime, thrillers, love, literature). The common denominator is that they are books I believe can contribute something of value to the lives of our readers, whether that means guidance in finding your way through life, faith and hope in the beauty of the human condition, or simply a challenging way of looking at life. We have already launched our "Rulebook" series of personal development with "the George Washington Rulebook of Achievement". More rulebooks,Rfollowed by novels, are in preparation. Right now, all books in planning are by myself – but I am interested in lending the support of Hula Ink to other self-publishers whose books meet our standards and goals. The most important–and most demanding – part of our work right now is building our platform. We can only sell our books if our social media network – our "Poetry & Purpose" channels on YouTube, Tiktok and Substack – are effective enough to reach a large audience.
