Last couple of weeks we have been having some real massive storms and flooding in Japan for the rainy season, the Kamogawa river even broke its banks in central Kyoto. After the water subsided I went to check out the damage, and also look for Giant Salamanders which you can rarely see in this area after heavy rains.
