New Leg-mounted DesignI have a new design for mounting the Here GPS. It attaches to the Solo on one of the legs and is much easier to install than the previous "mast on top" method. This can be mounted at the front or rear of the vehicle which I like because the weight of the Here being moved from the front to the rear helps offset the weight of the front-mounted camera/gimbal, resulting in a better center of gravity overall.ArticleJun 18, 2024Public 0 1The Solo Battery CoverThe battery cover was made to fit the Battery Mod and before now hadn't worked well with other battery solutions. So I came up with a way to make it work with batteries that are not the same size as the battery mod, as long as you use an internally mounted BMSOne. Here's a video to show what I mean.VideoMar 22, 2024Public 0 1Pairing and Updating Solo and ControllerIf you're having trouble pairing your Solo and the Solo's lights are not all four green, watch this video to see how it's done and the problems you may run into.VideoMar 17, 2024Public 0 2The BMSOne just got smarter!Feb 19, 2024ImageFeb 19, 2024Public 0 1Update Your Factory Reset Partition using SolexPrevent being stuck on "Preflight Update" by eliminating it. This replaces that unusable firmware with the currently installed firmware. So you can Factory Reset to your heart's content anytime you like. It is the most current version of ArduCopter (4.5.0-dev) with Sport Mode enabled using the Custom Build Server. If you know how to load it via USB in Mission Planner you can try it out and get your Sport Mode back. If you don't know how let me know and I'll help you.ArticleJan 22, 2024Public 0 0Open Solo 4 FilesThese are the files needed to manually flash the SD cards to Open Solo 4 firmware and manually flash the Cube (CubeSolo, CubeGreen, or CubeOrangePlus) to the appropriate firmware.
