We always find peace and solace there, and when we are lucky the deer outnumber the people by a fair measure. Such was our morn. Not a soul and three deer in the trees, guarded as we passed, but at ease with our distance. I should have zoomed in but was afraid they may move on before I could get off a shot. Fear not, deer, my shots don’t hurt. Today we begin the process of moving my sister from her independent living apartment to a memory care facility.
