Living UnicornIt took around an hour maybe, I cut a lot of corners by using a thick brush with no pen pressure and it actually helped me so so much. Restricting your pallet and tools helps shorten painting time a lot for me and I'm going to be doing it from now on. Can't wait to get started with this technique on commissions now!ImageJune 28Public 0 1Spiny ToadAnother warmup piece just staying loose with my drawing and trying to figure out how to best use this new brush. I really have been trying to also follow traditional painting methods and I really like the result!ArticleJune 8Public 0 0KingfisherStarted some new methods of painting and I really really like how it came out. It's basically following the steps of a traditional painting using an underpainting and solid color before building upImageJune 3Public 0 0DowndraftIt's storm season and @PecosHank makes some of the most incredible videos on meteorological phenomena that I had to make a painting inspired by one of his photos. Couldn't spend too long on it since it was just a warmup but it definitely helped me figure out some new painting techniquesVideoMay 19Public 0 0PA - Summer HazeApril 27 View post A commission for Primeval AgeArticleApril 27Public 0 0Fishscale Forest: Initial conceptsMarch 19ArticleMarch 19$3 tier & up 0 0Swamp! I am still not totally satisfied with the horse anatomy but I'm definitely improving. This is the most recent of these pieces so everything posted from here on out will be posted when they're made (there may be a dry spell between these since a lot of these are from last year)ArticleMarch 7Public 0 0Foggy DewI tried something new but looking back on this there are some anatomy mistakes that I would change. The nose on Iyampeh could be better and his left hind leg too. Overall, I like what I was attempting but it'll take some more practiceArticleMarch 3Public 0 0Dust UpI like doing this style, it's actually a lot of funArticleFebruary 28Public 0 0Fast FriendsI think I would love to make a comic in this style if I had a lot of timeArticleFebruary 27Public 0 0
