Representing my first time doing a tutorial on the Ambient Ø in more than a year, this video looks at how to make a Juno-inspired patch on the synth, incorporating pseudo-pulse width modulation (PWM) and a pseudo-filter envelope. The first half looks at the underlying concepts of PWM and filter envelopes, and how I made the original sound on the JU-06A (a Juno emulator). The second half shows how to apply these concepts to the Ambient and make something that sounds at least sort of similar to it. There's a table of contents with timestamps at the bottom of the post.

This is the third (and I think final) video in my granular effects mini-series for the Evoke. This one covers a type of effect I've used frequently in my songs on the Evoke, and at the end of it, I talk about how you can use it as a springboard for creating new music. I would like to do more of these songwriting tip-style videos in the future, alongside practical music theory videos.
