Boyfriend ShirtsA poem for my husband from shortly before we got married. I leave relationships with extra shirts Never on purpose These things end up on my floor where you left them In my drawers where you left them On my skin where you left them. They become stolen when I leave When you become left. I pull on a silky black button down The bottom buttons missing And the sleeves that cut off at your biceps fall Around my elbows. And I remember your high school beard against my temple And your voice rising to a shout. How you promised to protect me And how you tried And failed And never protected me from you. Suicidal Ideation and Ex OblivioneMy favorite story by Hugely Problematic Lovecraft is a short piece called Ex Oblivione . It's less than seven hundred words and is about suicide. A Short, Angry Rant About DawkinsI had considered not putting this up, because it’s mostly just my being angry about Dawkins, something I’ve been doing on and off for most of my life at this point. But, at time of writing it’s four am and I’m listening to a four hour youtube video about a garbage book Dawkins recently contributed to. So here we are: I’m here, I’m agender, and I’m still mad. It’s not really a secret that I have hated Richard Dawkins since I was a teenager. A friend recommended one of his articles to me in high school and he misused the word religion a bunch of times, basically describing anything he didn’t like about the world as being because of religion and everything he did as just being cultural. The twoArticleApril 11Public 0 0
