Article Latest postPublicI'm still alive!

I've been bad at keeping up with my patreon. 😓 I'll be working on that, along with the rest of my social media, in the near future.

New technique experimentTried something new today. I think it requires a bit more finesse and planning to make something really neat, so I basically just did stripes, but... *shrug* it's pretty. I like it. (Iron Man color theme is not an accident)Articletoday at Aug 24 crawlPublic 0 0More new adventures...I was upset that my local arts & crafts store is going out of business right when I started having an artsy crafty hobby, but on the other hand it's really nice cuz I can stock up on crap to practice with and try new things for cheap! I'm gonna try wire wrapping.ImageMay 2, 2019Public 0 0I DID ANOTHER THINGPardon the poor lighting but I MADE JEWELRY THINGIES!!! Painting is turning into quite a multi-aspect adventure. I don't wear jewelry at all but I'm also going to make keychains, fridge magnets, and pins. 😃 this is fun! (Also pardon the lack of posts lately, my kitchen has been full of ants for two weeks and I paint in my kitchen. But not when it's full of ants. 😒)ArticleApr 16, 2019Public 0 0Trying a new thing!I poured on ceramic tiles today! A lot of people do these and then apply a heat/freeze resistant clear coat finish to them so they can be used as drink coasters. That's my plan currently. I hope these dry nicely! I was in a bit of a hurry because I have bad time management skills and had to leave for work like five minutes after I finished them.... WhoopsArticletoday at Aug 24 crawlPublic 0 0HAIR COLORINGMar 21, 2019ArticleMar 21, 2019$2 tier & up 0 0On a marvel kickMar 13, 2019ArticleMar 13, 2019$2 tier & up 0 0OopsImportant lesson: if you're going to do pour paintings at midnight, make sure they're level before you go to bed. Otherwise you have to scrub your dishwasher at 7am...ArticleMar 9, 2019Public 0 0I got impatient...I want to start making jewelry out of the "skins" of dried paint that come with doing acrylic pours. I've done a fair amount of research into the supplies, a miniscule amount of research into the actual process, and looked at lots of pictures online. Today I decided to wing it with one little piece and see what happened.ImageToday at Aug 24 crawlPublic 0 0Tried a new technique! This was a super fun technique using a hair dryer! I want to do more but it takes a lot of white to cover the canvas before adding color and I didn't want to mix up more. 😅 not sure if other colors as a background would work very well. Maybe a really light color... Hmmm.ArticleMar 2, 2019Public 0 0Results of experimentsIn my last post I showed an experiment I was doing... This is the result. I think it would look better without the black. I'll have to try it again with lighter colors.ArticleFeb 25, 2019Public 0 0Experiments...One of the best parts of a pour painting is the paint that trickles off the canvas. I always end up peeling really cool patterns and designs up off the plastic when everything is done and dry.ImageFeb 22, 2019Public 0 0
