Been a while since I've posted anything here. Been hard at work with revisions on Steam Company. Whole new Chapter 1. Chapter 2 now brings the fall of Milton to life and really focused in on being character first to tell this story. Oh and an earlier version of Chapter 1 go published in the Bardsy Fall 2025 First Chapter contest. Starting to feel like a writer. Have a Contest submission out for chapter 22 the big set piece chapter. Started re-writing Book 2: Wings of Steam but got sucked back into Book 1 after writing feedback from my writing group. Hoping to find my head on that again next week. Oh and there is a new story Article June 1 Been A while... Been a while since I've posted anything here. Zerombie C4rr1on surveyed the cyberspace in front of him, flipping through building maps. His fingers moved over his virtual keyboard, as he reviewed the holographic representation of the server farm his team was in. He blinked greenish blue eyes behind a slim AR headset, as the green and red overlays slid into place. “Next right, Fowlk. Don’t miss the turn.” C4rr1on’s voice was a measured tenor. “Preem C4r. Next right. I see it. Any read on what the fuck is following us?” Fowlk’s voice was a deep base in his ears. Much better then the previous version. probably can add more sites, a Article Oct 14, 2021 Reworking Chapter 1 Just to many names.. of places, of people who never show up in the story again. While it adds background color, it kind of obfuscates the important people. So cut a lot of those out. Reworked the conversation with the PM, to make him seem more in the game, and more sinister then dumb. Reworked portions of the troop review, as well as the officer meeting.
