His fingers moved over his virtual keyboard, as he reviewed the holographic representation of the server farm his team was in. He blinked greenish blue eyes behind a slim AR headset, as the green and red overlays slid into place. “Next right, Fowlk. Don’t miss the turn.” C4rr1on’s voice was a measured tenor. “Preem C4r. Next right. I see it. Any read on what the fuck is following us?” Fowlk’s voice was a deep base in his ears. A small window in his vision showed a direct feed from Fowlks opticals as they navigated the streets. “NegatArticleNov 3, 2025$1 tier & up 0 0

Settings in Agrapha1 Settings in Agrapha Locked Settings in Agrapha Jul 28, 2021 1 I wrote the below on the bus ride home last night. Reading through it today things I'm noticing. I was hyper focused on the food, so kind of lost the person and surroundings. this is something I've noticed before, I tease out one detail, and allow others to fall to the background. This is neither good nor bad. If it was previously described, it's fine, but if this is the first introduction to the character, it leaves us lacking. We get no sense of place or physicality of the character. I need to work on integrating my descriptions of both place, person and focal point into cohesive scenes. Feedback appreciated on the below, if yArticleJul 28, 2021$1 tier & up 0 0

Reworking Chapter 1Just to many names.. of places, of people who never show up in the story again. While it adds background color, it kind of obfuscates the important people. So cut a lot of those out. Reworked the conversation with the PM, to make him seem more in the game, and more sinister then dumb. Reworked portions of the troop review, as well as the officer meeting. Hopefully it reads better now. Steam Company Chapter 1 | Brian Decker on PatreonArticleAug 20, 2021Public 0 0

Not in the writing habbit1 Not in the writing habbit Locked Not in the writing habbit Jun 1, 2021 1 We'll see how the day goes, but It's Memorial day weekend, and sunny here in the North West. Our neighborhood holds a BBQ a couple times a year, a chance for us to get out and enjoy some good food, and be neighborly. We had to cancel them all last year thanks to the Pandemic, so with the entire neighborhood fully Vaxed, we are holding a right neighborly BBQ and getting ready to enjoy some seared meat. There is something to be said for the ritual of meat and fire. It's primal in it's supposed simplicity. Stick the meat over the fire and wait for it to be edible. However, we humans have made that simple primal act, intoArticleJun 1, 2021$1 tier & up 0 0
