We're catching you up slightly out of order, but oh well.....) In May 2018, FAR OUT BLACK, the fab lineup of afrofuturist short films curated by filmmaker Celia C. Peters was screened at the California African American Museum in Los Angeles. We had a full house and a director's panel that included filmmakers Keith Josef Adkins, Buki Bodunrin, Ezra Claytan Daniels, Donovan Vim Crony and yours truly. Great film, great convo, great vision.

This groundbreaking show featured work by artists from groups who are usually underrepresented as leading sci-fi stories (POC, women, LGBTQI, disabled). Panel for Aspiring ActorsJul 2, 2019 View post We're catching you up on what we've been up to. In February 2017, we produced a fantastic panel for aspiring actors at the Columbus College of Art and Design. The event was sponsored by Film Columbus. Our panelists included three working actors, an acting coach, an agent, a producer/director and a casting director! (Can you say 'coverage'?) The purpose of the panel was to school up-and-coming thespians on the basics of showing up as a professional, regardless of experience level. My short sci-fi thriller MISSION premiered to a sold-out house at the Columbus International Film & Video Festival on April 22. It was an amazing evening! The audience was amped and loving the films that screened. Our Q&A brought out a lot of great questions, too. It was SOOOO wonderful to finally get this film out into the world and get feedback from the people it was made for: the audience! READY to get going with this Patreon and start submitting MISSION out to festivals out in the world. #blessings #keeprising Check out the photo album here: https://flic.kr/s/aHskUvDuyLArticleApr 24, 2017Public 0 0
