Having the park to ourselves made for an interesting and creepy time. We had a tour before starting our adventure, and Chris was fantastic. Chris shared his family history with us, as well as the history of Lake Shawnee Amusement Park and the native Shawnee burial ground on the site. He was thorough and did a great job. We enjoyed our stay and after reviewing our videos and other media, we found that there's something to this place. We had some weirdness that wasn't threatening or mean-spirited.
