My intention with this encounter is to have a bit of a twist to the usual Phylactery lich mindset. Often the creature is defeated and then whisked away to the phylactery to recuperate in safety. In this combat I wanted the phylactery to be front and center not only to draw attention away from the lich but to create a secondary objective where destroying it actually makes the combat easier so the players have to decide if they should focus fire or take on different tasks during the combat. Proud of this one being the first post. Let me know what you think.
