House of Suns imagines life in the galaxy about six million years from now, when human societies have spread across the Milky Way, and clones monitor their progress. This book is new to both Elle and me, so I can’t tell you much more than that, but I am excited that we picked this one because the premise is so intriguing. Reynolds also trained in astronomy and astrophysics and had a career as a scientist, so I’m betting he’ll give us a healthy dollop of science within the fiction.
