Behind the Scenes2 Behind the Scenes Locked Behind the Scenes August 13 1 1 The other day, I posted my new flash fiction piece that started as a story about a woman with a statue for a husband. For your prompt this month, consider writing a piece about someone who doesn't have a voice, either literally or figuratively. The story can be from the POV of the person who is interacting with the voiceless person or from the voiceless person themself. The subject could be a statue, an animal, a taxidermy spouse, an inanimate object. What does the voiceless character do or say? How is their character developed through the POV of the person in their life?ArticleAugust 13$2 tier & up 1 1

Emotionally, I'm still wandering the Scottish Highlands trying to buy a cape that can flap dramatically in the wind. Scotland was as magical as I hoped it would be. This month is all about catching up on to-do list stuff and turning all of my inspiration into actual writing. August (the month) is goArticleAugust 6$2 tier & up 0 0

First draft1 First draft Locked First draft July 13 1 1 Hey besties and also so sorry! It's July 8th and my welcome to July, first of the month message is clearly horribly late. I have no excuse except that it's July and I AM GOING TO SCOTLAND IN A WEEK. Okay, backtrack, I'm leaving for the UK in a week where I'll spend a few days in Bristol at the flash fiction festival and then I'll be in Scotland, researching for my upcoming novel. At any rate, I'm gloriously excited and instead of doing anything work related, I've been making packing lists, watching videos of puffins, and basically doing anything that involves thinking of, preparing for, and actively planning my trip. June was supposed to be my resArticleJuly 13$2 tier & up 1 1
