Embark Flow: a short introduction to Vinyasa. Vinyasa is a type of yoga that is designed to form a flowing sequence. In many Vinyasa classes, an instructor will offer for students to "take a Vinyasa" flow within class. In this context, a Vinyasa flow refers to a sequence of common poses that can be used to level up the intensity of a class. A Vinyasa flow often consists of high plank, chaturanga dandasana/slow lower down to belly, baby cobra/cobra/upward facing dog, and finally downward dog/child's pose. This video breaks down what it can look like to "take a Vinyasa" in your practice by demonstrating a few variations. Video Feb 28, 2022 Public 0 0
