Thru-hikers of these wonderful longer, short trails (such as the TRT, TYT, JMT, Long Trail...) are committed to the process of seeing a thing through to its end. But even though they've planned and prepared, they're just as committed to embracing the journey as the destination.
But we're not quite cranking it up to 11 at this point. You can, after all, still count the days required to complete many of these particular trails on your fingers and toes.

Thru-hikers of any of the three American long trails (AT, PCT, CDT aka the Triple Crown) are a different breed of backpacker driven by a different kind of hunger. Determined or deranged? There's a fine line between the two. And many would argue they're the flip side of the same coin.

I'll take suggestions, but ultimately I reserve the right to choose what artwork I send you. Why? Because I seldom produce my best work when being "commissioned" to create. Trust me, you'll appreciate my work much more when I'm left to my own devices. But you can be sure that whatever I end up creating for you will be related to the outdoors (landscape, wildlife, plant life, etc.).
